Bhubaneswar: The second phase merit list for Plus II admissions was released by the Department of Higher Education on Saturday. According to the merit list published on Student Academic Management System (SAMS), Ravenshaw Junior College has set the highest cut-off mark – 89.2 percent, for admission in the Science stream.
BJB Junior College stood second in the list for +2 Science admission criteria with 87.67 percent. Neelakantha Nagar (Berhampur) Saraswati Vidya Mandir Junior College’s cut-off mark is 87.17 percent.
In Arts stream, BJB Junior College (Bhubaneswar) tops the list with a cut-off of 70.4 percent. Ravenshaw Junior College and Narasinghpur Junior College have ranked second and third with cut-off marks – 70 and 68.17 per cent, respectively.
In Commerce stream, Talcher Junior College stood first in the list with 75.83 per cent cut-off. Ravesnshaw Higher Secondary School and Shailabala Women’s Junior College ranked second and third in the Commerce cut-off list with 75.5 and 74.4 per cent respectively.
This year total 91,040 applicants were considered for selection in second phase. While among them, 27,591 students are selected for taking admission into State junior colleges.
The second selection merit list students’ admission will be starting from July 15 (Monday).
