**Bhubaneswar:** A South African couple has travelled all the way from Johannesburg to Bhubaneswar for watching their son, Nicolas Spooner, play World Cup Hockey. Nicolas’ father Ian Spooner and his wife said that they have had a charming experience so far in the Temple City.
Nicolas is the youngest player in the South African Hockey squad for the World Cup. “The World Cup has been a fantastic experience. The City is very clean and everybody here is so helpful,” said Ian. The couple, staying at a local hotel left for a trip to Puri and Konark today.
They have decided to stay here till the end of the tournament. “It does not matter if South Africa qualifies for the semi finals or further in the tournament. I am a sportman’s father and we enjoy the game in the right spirit. We will be returning to Johannesburg on December 18,” said Ian.
